She is currently a certified Kinesiotape practitioner, and has also pursued additional training on post-concussion physical therapy.

She has a special interest in working with equestrians to enhance their performance and prevent injuries. As an avid equestrian for over 20 years, she combines her professional expertise as a physical therapist with a deep understanding of the physical demands and biomechanics unique to the sport.
In her spare time, Dr. Alvarez enjoys horseback riding, painting, and spending time with family.
